Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 04/10/2026Get your snake a thermostat controlled heated cat bed for these brisk fall days :3 051
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 03/10/2026Lilith's favorite thing in the world is her backpack. We leave it set up with the back porch extended whenever we have her out and she will always go to it when she gets squirrelly where she will relax and calm down before coming back out. It also makes traveling with her very easy! 1145
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 03/10/2026We get a heated cat bed for Lilith (a boa constrictor) and the first thing she does is curl up around my legs and use my hand as a pillow before falling asleep. This snake picks me over a car bed set to her ideal temperature 🥹 (It's hard to tell a sleeping snake but there are signs.) 040
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 30/09/2026Post work snake therapy <3 She was all squirrelly until I got home and then she crawled on me and settled down. 040
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 27/09/2026Lilith has decided that the cat backpack is her new home :) 030
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 23/09/2026It's kinda like unwrapping a present except it is stinky and messy and likely to gouge your hand pulling it apart #fursuit #fursuitrepair 160
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 23/09/2026Run #2 of this repair went well and I had no leaks! I did have to cut the vacuum film in a couple spots to feed in new intake lines in spots that weren't getting resin in them, but I got full penetration! Now to wait 3 days for this to cure. 010
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 14/09/2026Post work cuddle time. Lilith is so comfy! I'm posting this while still giving her head rubs 141
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 14/09/2026I totally have a lap snake. Every time Lilith comes out, she will settle down on me and will often rest her head on some part of me, usually skin contact. She will stay in one place on me until I move her or until about 2 hours passes. Also, she relaxes completely when I rub her head 🥹 020
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 12/09/2026Aside from moving her head on occasion, she has been like this for well over an hour. 120
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 10/09/2026It's also super easy and cheap to attach new terminals to your battery cables if you need to do that. Literally just did it with my car. The new terminal clamps were $7. Also lost the hold down clamp so got a new one for $10 on Amazon. 000
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 10/09/2026Why does a poodle cut go kinda hard on a sheep??? lernertandsander.com/backer-sheep/ 061
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 08/09/2026Lilith, our new rescue boa, was never taken out of her tank except for cleanings for about half her life. We expected to need to do some work socializing her but... She has almost no reaction to us touching her head and will actively seek out our hands for headrubs. 150
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 07/09/2026Lilith fell asleep on @elai.hauntedopossum.com's leg. She's been wrapped around Elai for a full 2 hours with barely any movement. I don't think I've met a snake that visibly relaxes when you pet their head. She just wants to spend time hanging out with us. 010
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 07/09/2026I'm glad I used a single piece curtain rod here. Lilith gets visibly excited when she is brought into the bathroom for a shower/steam bath. Afterward she always relaxes stretched out across me and @elai.hauntedopossum.com for hours at a time. Best snake ever. 042
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 06/09/2026This noodle is the best. Here she is al dente after her shower yesterday. 050
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 05/09/2026Regular shower time has cleared up Lilith's slight breathing issues really quickly and she loves the warm rain! #snake #boa Lilith is @elai.hauntedopossum.com's new rescued boa constrictor :) 2103
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 30/08/2026She's so baby. We are now an hour into her chilling in that exact same spot on @elai.hauntedopossum.com's leg 031
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 30/08/2026Having a 30 pound snake that likes to sprawl out on top of you for hours on end is a wonderful thing to have as someone on the spectrum. 051
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 23/08/2026Pulled another head base today! I messed up the mold with this one so I had to break it to get the head base out. Gotta fix the mold and reprint! 030
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 22/08/2026This head base mold is TECHNICALLY stable as long as I do not even look at it. I was rushing and forgot to account for clamps lol 030
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 18/08/2026Got a kemono kitty head base mold almost done today! Just letting the epoxy that's filling gaps and holding everything together securely cure. 040
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 16/08/2026The snake we rescued tonight is the chilliest. She's been showing the most relaxed body language. 061
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 15/08/2026I can't believe this hasn't turned into complete spaghetti lol 040
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 15/08/2026In situ repair of a broken jaw hinge on a printed head base. I repair fursuits of all types! More info at hauntedopossum.com 020
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 12/08/2026Alright! I've got everything wrapped up with release film, flow media, and vacuum lines and sealing all in place! The next step will be to prepare the vacuum equipment, mix the resin, and send it. 040
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 10/08/2026Okay I lied. I finished wrapping. I also got the broken sergal base put back together and finished. And there's a broken dog base that's almost ready for reassembly! I'm exhausted lol 020
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 10/08/2026Alright. I'm done for the day. It's too hot to be working in a respirator. I sanded all the dried epoxy to a level finish. Then I wrapped 2 yards of 14" wide carbon fiber cloth around the head. I'm going to come back to it later and put another 2 yards on. Then it's vacuum infusion of resin! 150
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 08/08/2026Almost done putting the base back together! One more round of epoxy work after the clamped area cures. Then I get to sand everything smooth to wrap with carbon fiber cloth. 020
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 07/08/2026Even with the quick cure epoxy, building this headbase back up is taking multiple rounds of clamping and letting epoxy cure. Here we are after round 2 of rebuilding this crushed headbase. Fursuit under repair belongs to @votemacbeth.org #fursuitrepair #fursuit #fursuitmaker 031
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 06/08/2026Also remember that this thing is the size of a small car!!! 030
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 06/08/2026After I finish scraping the glue and foam off of the back piece, I'll be using more epoxy to put the whole head back together. When that is finished, I'll be sanding the whole thing down and wrapping it in carbon fiber. I'm actually past the most annoying part of this process. Scraping glue sucks! 000
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 06/08/2026I've been scraping at a whole-ass package of hot glue that this maker used to put this entire head together. They hot glued the print sections together even. The black middle section of the face is currently curing. The jaw is cured. The piece in the back still needs scraping and repair. 121
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 03/08/2026And then you have other parts of China that have historically been very car-centric. Most of these larger cities have been implementing subsidized pricing on LSEVs and NEVs (Low Speed Electric Vehicles and Neighborhood Electric Vehicles) to get more people on scooters and vehicles like below. 110
Caltsar @caltsar.hauntedopossum.com · 03/08/2026Singapore is hot, tropical city. They have trees and plant life everywhere, covered sidewalks to protect you from the rain and sun. This could translate very well to our weather to keep people cooler and encourage walking in the winter by acting as a wind break. 110
