Steam users do not have a choice whether or not to update the sims 4, at least in any way that I have been able to find including theoretically changing the register. This is not universal advice. If you use steam your choice is to update or simply not play.

Another shirt design for the company I work for, Planter! You all already know how passionate I am about leaving the leaves, so when one of my coworkers recommended I make a shirt highlighting some creatures that rely on leaves, I jumped on it.
