I once made it from class to Turner Field in fifteen minutes to watch Jaret Wright get torched starting a playoff game. 23 year old me didn’t make the best decisions, is what I’m saying.

Where they're from: Kennesaw, Georgia, in the northwest burbs of Atlanta.
Google says its a half-hour to downtown but l've driven in Atlanta and I'm saying there's no way.

Having grown up adjacent to and often work in Riverside (and having actually slept over at Cal Baptist's dorms once in a past life), I actually *do* think about Riverside slightly more than I do Cincinnati. Mostly, I just think about how the entrance to the city is protected by a rusty mammoth.

Eddie, a rusty statue of a Columbian mammoth, overlooking Jurupa Valley, Riverside, and Highway 60 traffic.

I filled out a bracket for the first time with zero knowledge or understanding of any team and showed it to Claude. This is what it had to say. Lol

If you want a little Albany info from a biased Siena grad and lifetime Upstater, two fun facts are that Albany's the oldest continually chartered city in the US and the unofficial city mascot is also a dog, a Jack Russel Terrier named Nipper who has a massive statue in the warehouse district.

Excellent post, only qualm is that Hawaii plays my beloved Arkansas Razorbacks as the 4 seed, not 3 seed Illinois

The "unofficial" live @umbc.bsky.social retriever mascot is a Chesapeake Retriever named Chip! Chip is a trained therapy dog that can be seen around campus especially during stressful times like finals week. umbc.edu/stories/the-...
