The Jets had only two plays on offense in the 4th quarter, which I think ties the 1987 Steelers for the fewest in a 4th quarter in modern NFL history. www.quirkyresearch.com/football-lis... (Page is from 2021 and hasn't been updated recently.)

There's a lot of 1950s Browns game film available; unfortunately it's almost all from home games and that game was played in Washington. The Browns may have scored on a lateral somewhere between 1958 and 1974 but I couldn't find any evidence of it.

There has never been a 16-game NFL week where every game was won by a different number of points, so I know what I'm rooting for tonight. Post-merger weeks with different scoring margins for every game: Week 7 2025 (15 games); Week 2 1976 (14); Week 9 1973 (13); Week 7 1997 (12); Week 4 1992 (11)

Never (unless there was some 1920s Veterans Day or Thanksgiving game that kicked off super-early). The earliest I know of for sure were the 1953 Packers @ Lions, 1960 Dallas Texans @ New York Titans, and 1961 Bills-Titans Thanksgiving games, all of which kicked off around 11 am local.

Answers: #1: For the entire 1977 season, the Packers scorer simply used "Smith" to denote both Barty and Ollie. Barty had all the carries, but both caught passes, making it tough to discern which one was the targeted receiver on incompletions.
