Hey. hey it's Monday that awesome day of the week where we celebrate all the small to big wins with everything in between. Mine is that I have just completed the last weekend on the trot for water polo since the weekend of March 21st. Home this weekend. What's Yours?

I had a day leave and I had an amazing day. But I don't think my legs will forgive me for all that walking today

My team of complete amateurs had a respectable middle of the pack finish at the Wellington Speed Puzzling Regionals on Saturday 💪

My win is that Mum had a heavy fall last night producing a horrendous bruise that wasn’t picked up until shower time (Alzheimer’s brain) but fortunately she’s made of tough stuff & no bones broken 😮‍💨 which is good because we’re still on course for her move into permanent care tomorrow.

I have organised to meet my Gran's younger (72 y.o) cousin who I managed to track down last week to see where she can take me with my current family history research project. Also finally cleaned up the succulent garden.

Big win: I went on the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on the weekend which was great fun. Small win: after my parked motorbike got knocked over with my helmet on it, my insurance has been approved, I don’t have to pay any excess, and I get a brand new helmet for free :)

Our team made it to an Auckland Centre Bowls final (a first for all of us), but fell at the final hurdle in the Champion of Champions 4's. So runner up, and got the medal to prove it :)

I keep meaning to reply, then realising it's like Thursday already... so can I do an omnibus? First weekend of May I did my Mat Work block module for my Pilates teaching. The weekend after I did my first mat work class. As of Friday, I'm 10% through my teaching hours for that. 😁

Mine is our house sale fell through but we don’t have to sell quite yet, we love our house so we went for a walk on the beach and will list it again in the spring. Hopefully a cold winter will mean less weeding over the next 3 months 🤞🤞

Footsteps in the sand, tide coming in and green hills in the background.

Took a day off, went for a beach walk, did NOT make myself do productive things.

I did the first coat of paint on the ceiling in my new creative space. Now the urchins have left home, I can claim a bigger space as I currently create in the attic. Still lots to do, shelving, design wall, lighting, flooring. Something to look forward to this winter.

Enjoy that time at home. I know how stressful everything is for you.

Made a couple of jackets this week for winter, one from a blanket, the other from previous project leftovers #reuse #recycle
