I did this 3 years ago but we fled from Texas to NZ. I hope this family finds the love and safety they need. It was the absolutely hardest decision of my life but the best decision I ever made for our family. We shouldn’t have to flee to be safe but I’m glad I had the privilege to do so. 💔💔💔

Took a nice walk around the park with the pup today- lots of things are blooming! I’m ready for some warmer weather but spring has always been my favourite season and I’ll always be the person who stops to take the picture of the pretty trees 💚💚💚

People being consistently late to work is going to be my undoing 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ you are NOT special- show up where you’re supposed to for fucks sake!!! And the lack of repercussions with it is driving me to the edge!!! I’m pissy from perimenopause I do not need this from my team when we’re already short handed

Went to the youngest birthday party at his dad’s house. Is it weird over 2 years after the divorce he still has photos of my partner up on the wall? He has a partner who I met today and she is lovely. But I found it very weird to see their wedding photo just hanging there, am I just weird? Or is he?

Had a good day with friends. Our friend crocheted us an awesome soft and warm blanket and housewarming gift. She did it in our favourite colours too. So amazing 💚💚💚

My cat Alien (orange boy) is a jerk! He literally pulls the curtains back so the sun is directly in my eye 🤬 so much for sleeping in on my day off 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️photo of the culprit below. He feels 0 regret or remorse.

Happy 2nd birthday Zagreus Stardust aka Ziggy. He's the biggest of the 4 cats despite being the youngest, cannot meow but will rasp at you. Loves to play and very picky about his snuggles. Has recently adopted my bonus kiddo "I" as his person. He loves everyone and is so soft and fluffy!

The adult kiddos took the younger two for the day cause I had to work and my partner had a concert. They took them to a movie, my partners concert, and then hung out played games and fed them dinner. I got to work and nap and now I’m waiting for them to arrive home. Such sweet kids 💚💚💚

Cats are still doing ok with each other today. My partners cat is still not happy but my two aren’t bothered by him at all 😂 my orange boy is still not allowed out yet but we will get there! Day 5 of 7 of work for me and I’m not feeling great and my bonus kiddos and partner are all sick 😬

As an American in Aotearoa with a visa- let me just say immigration is NOT easy here. Doesn’t surprise me that Americans think they don’t have to follow the rules and it doesn’t surprise me that they don’t want to return to America. Some might be entitlement and some is likely fear of returning.
