Niel Loeb @nielloeb.bsky.social · 30/03/2026The Times also surely has a policy to first spell out a name such as Artificial Intelligence before subsequently using its acronym. Stop depending on the Times for accuracy. 010 1

Bianca Michelle Parker 🏳️⚧️📚 @bumblebigirl.bsky.social · 30/03/2026How did someone who pulls this crap even get into the position where they were writing book reviews for a major publication? Craig @thelordgod.bsky.social · 30/03/2026Yeah they'll have AI review itself from here on out. That should fix it. 000 0

Shaenon K. Garrity @shaenon.bsky.social · 30/03/2026And the NYT now knows not to publish anything by this reviewer again, right? ...Right? I review graphic novels for Publishers Weekly and I put so much effort into my little capsule reviews. This is spitting on the work the writers put into their books, and it's spitting on the readers' trust. 2521 52
DK Latta @dklatta.bsky.social · 30/03/2026So so so soooo many struggling, desperate, enthusiastic writers out there eager for even a crumb of work, a sliver of opportunity...and publications use "writers" who can't even be arsed to write their own book reviews (the dream: to be paid to read/watch stuff and opine on them!) 0120 12
Along for the ride 🌮🐷 @ridder.bsky.social · 31/03/2026I'm pretty doubtful the AI accidentally "incorporated" content from his other article. Maybe he could convince it to do that with the right prompt engineering, but it seems unlikely the AI would do that on its own. 000 0
