Daryll Marie @daryllmarie.bsky.social · 09/05/2026Sometimes birding is a planned excursion. Sometimes it’s walking out your front door and finding a huge pileated woodpecker standing right there destroying a tree stump 🪶🌿 351053140
Bea Arthur's Ghost. @msles.bsky.social · 10/05/2026This morning as I was standing in the middle of my street with binoculars looking at some warblers a fox came out from behind a couple of houses and walked right in front of me. I was so still I don't think it knew I was there. It felt magical. 2310

Nicole Gerlach @ngerlach.bsky.social · 09/05/2026Before moving to FL, I'd only ever encountered them in pretty remote national forests and thought they were super exotic. Now here they're just... in my backyard. It's wild. 110
Jeri Berlin @jerbear56.bsky.social · 10/05/2026We once (and only once) saw a pair land near us. They are so impressive up close, and so much larger than you expect! 110
Shockratees @thatshockratees.bsky.social · 09/05/2026So large and magnificent. Never will forget the first time I saw one. 110
