Went on a bird walk Saturday morning and my favorite siting was 4 Wilson's Snipes foraging along the shore with a background of yellow flowers. #WaderWednesday #Birds

The Gadwalls are back! The small local wetlands I frequent has a population of Mallards all year, but the other ducks are only part time residents. The Gadwalls leave after their babies are grown so I rarely see them in late summer. This morning they outnumbered the Mallards. #MallardMonday #Birds

Went to the Bonneville Dam today in hopes of seeing a vagrant Cocos Booby that's been hanging with the Cormorants. Got very lucky!🍀 #Birds #Lifer
