Friends of mine are part of an initiative that helps trans people who are living in hostile states relocate to Washington State. If you live in Washington and have a spare bedroom, or even if you have funds to support the mission, consider doing so.

A flyer from the Kawaguchi O’Connor Initiative (KOI). It has multiple QR codes and two koi fish, one blue and one pink, circling each other. It reads:

"I'm only one person, what can I do?"

It's hard not to feel overwhelmed and helpless, but you can make a difference with just your spare bedroom or spare dollar!

KOl helps trans people seeking refuge from hostile states. Assisting a KOl evacuee can save their life.
