Happy Birthday to the N64 in NA. I can't believe its been 30 years since it released! I absolutely fell in love with this console and played so much of it growing up and even now in my adult years I come back to it.

Been seeing this around so I figured I'd give it a go. Also, picking only 9 is REALLY HARD. I have so many games that are really influential.

Something I never really understood was in AST, why the interiors were completely missing? Is there other broadcast games that have this issue? Is the data really completely gone or was this just people not understanding how satellaview works compared to now?

If you have audio issues on sd2snes / FX Pak Pro, such as lag or random noise: - Update the sd2snes / FX Pak Pro firmware. - Reformat your SD card. - Use a different SD card if it fails to work as intended. I cannot do any fixes from my end about audio. The cartridge handles MSU1 all by itself.

Something I recently noticed, Zelda's eye color in remake, it's the wrong color. Her eyes are blue in the OG and green in the remake. Interesting the green matches the wilds era Zelda. I'm beginning to think this game isn't as 1:1 as we first thought. 🤔

Seeing Project Dream prototype release is crazy. Some of the effects its doing is pretty insane for an SNES game, including overcast shadows in certain areas. Rare clearly was ahead of the game on the SNES back in the day.

Project Dream for SNES by Rare just got released: archive.org/details/proj... Since the googly-eyed cartridge tease by Tim Stamper in 2015 I was hoping we'd see this prototype in the wild. The music and art style are lovely. It makes me happy to finally see and hear this game up close. 🦊

Very curious, OoT remake on the eshop is showing its 27 GB while ToTK is only 20GB. What else have they added to OoT they haven't told us about? 🤔

That was a pretty good Nintendo direct, a lot of great games and switch 2 editions coming. I'm pretty stoked.

Hearing about the steam database leak was a bit surprising but I think the bigger surprise for me was the dragon age origin early build. Looking forward to seeing more news about that. 🤔

pre-rendered backgrounds are so good for making lovely places you just wanna be in

I just had to give a big thanks to @xdaniel.neocities.org for his program Scene Navi. Its been a huge help when I needed to look up actors in particular headers for a project I've been working on. Hint below. :)

Link from Ocarina of Time stands in front of the altar, the door of time is closed and the spiritual stones of lost their power and colour. Navi says "The Spiritual Stones you placed on the altar have lost their rad

Also Ura Zelda is Master Quest. Sorry to break it to ya. By the time OoT was done, their only idea for Ura Zelda was harder dungeons. You can literally quote Aonuma from Iwata Asks about it, and the gigaleak does contain 64DD info which also points to that direction.

Its always interesting when I decided to peek in on twitter to see if anything has gotten better or changed. Then yet somehow not surprised its gotten even worse, more negative, and more divisive than ever before. Just reaffirms my decision to be here.

Stop making live-service games. The market can't sustain their existence and employees don't withstand their failure. Not every game can be a part-time job for players and most are already entrenched in an old favourite.

You know I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it. We saw the Wind Waker game on the GCN coming to NSO, and they showed off upcoming games from the gcube era. Interesting enough, Twilight Princess was completely missing. I wonder if there is a HD remaster in the works?

So apparently EA app is even more unreliable, all my hours on ME1 and ME2 have suddenly vanished! ME3 and MEA still retain their hours but for some reason the first two games don't.

Does anyone remember the unused static Brown Bird in Ocarina of Time? Was found back in like the old ZSO era. Apparently, the bird had a majority of its movement programmed, however the code to handle the Y axis was unfinished. Finishing up what was needed gives us the closest approximation.

Whelp, those results are...yeah....not great. Thankfully I was in the process of moving out of the country. However, I do wish all my American compatriots the best, live your life, don't let someone take away who you are. You are unique, you are loved and you are worth it.

I've been hearing that the Switch 2's announcement is going to be mid to late January from sources close to the company. I normally don't post this kind of info, but I figured it should be out there to help temper expectations of when that announcement is coming.

Absolutely disappointing that people are stupid enough to stream the Nintendo playtest. You agreed to an NDA to even get the download code and now anything in the future like this may never happen again because people cannot control themselves.

I was accepted into the Nintendo playtest, I'm curious to see what this is. With the requirements being an NSO expansion member, I wonder if it's gcube coming to the service? 🤔
