I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

Lester The Unlikely isn't a bad game. It's not a great game but like it tries the idea of a scaredy nerd that becomes confidently courageous and is reflected in gameplay and animations as you play lol It's just very stupidly cliché throughout.

I just played against certain bosses: There's a clear visual feedback when you hit the weak points now. Personally I wasn't bothered, but I could see why people would be. Heck I feel like even the sound effect volume was adjusted to be higher.

By the way, Zero Racers and Dragon Hopper are the best games on Virtual Boy. They're worth playing. Not a random case of games that could have worked elsewhere like a bunch of those games (which are still mostly totally fine!), they fit on that console specifically.

looks like some people finally realized what Nintendo Directs are like now ...and they're quite a few years late to the party because Directs have been quite third party focused during the Switch 1, and I never really minded it.
