I feel really great today 🦊💚 I went through a shitty time recently with health problems and moodyness but it seems I'm finally stable again. If anyone here struggles with back problems or depression try going on walks. Make it a daily routine. Walking in the countryside helps me feel a lot better.
A sunny forest walk in southwest Germany in late September 2026. Nature heals me both physically and mentally.

I just read an article saying British prime minister Andy Burnham would like to have the UK rejoin the European Union. I'd be very happy if it happens. 🦊 As folk music & synthpop enthusiast I ordered vinyl, CDs and tapes from the UK all the time. Brexit made it impossible to do so because of fees.

A nice forest walk and a great day overall. 🦊💚 It's the first time that my back isn't hurting and I can fully breathe and I had so much more energy than all these past months. I feel amazing.

I often look awkward to other people. Because I'm autistic. It sucks, I can't change it. But I'm harmless. I don't hurt anyone. I'm just awkward. On my forest walk today a mother called her young children back when she saw me going down the path where they played. It made me feel a bit shitty. :/

I think there's a relatively high number of neurodivergent folks in the furry community. And that's why furries working in demanding jobs such as pilots, train conductors, IT specialists, etc. are quite common. They're passionate about what they do and they do a great job. 🦊

I woke up feeling great! 🦊🧡 Not hurting, not exhausted. I can breathe, I can move. I actually feel like a real person again. Today will be nice! After breakfast I'll go on a walk.

I fixed my back pain 🦊🧡 By standing upright, knees bending slightly, and touching the back of my foot with my hand. It fixed my blockade. I'll remember how to do this for the future. Note: My back problems are in the chest / shoulder. Not in the lower regions. I also have an elongated xiphoid. :P

Hello my friends and followers, I'm sorry for not replying to your comments or posting much. I'm struggling with a back pain since a few days. I can barely move or sit at the PC. :/ I'll try to get better. I'll be back and answer your comments when I feel better again. See you all soon, ~Ren 🦊🧡

The Kraftwerk Prototype of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine for Sega Genesis was released by Ashley Rojas (CartridgeCulture): hiddenpalace.org/Dr._Robotnik... David Javelosa arranged a cover of Kraftwerk's Home Computer (1981) as the title screen theme. It was taken out because of licensing issues.

There was a short time when I had a bat-eared fox sona named Mirabelle. 🦊 But people said I shouldn't be using an animal not native to my region, so I stopped using them. The artwork was made by lura. My friend Julie/Spring gifted it to me.

A friend asked me what a furry is. :P We're fans of anthropomorphic animal characters. Animals with human traits. Many have a fursona, a personal character they identify with. Furries enjoy and create art, costumes, stories etc. based around this. For me it's a form of escapism from real life. 🦊
It's just me wearing silly fox ears :p

Some furries have very elaborate and cool costumes, but I don't have one. Never say never, though. It's me as a cartoony fox. Ren Fuchsfein is my online avatar

I cooked Älplermagronen. The Swiss version of Mac and Cheese. 🦊💛🧀 Made with pasta, cream, cheese and onions. You can also add potatoes if you like. This easy and filling meal was traditionally eaten by the herdsmen in the Alps since Italian workers brought pasta to Switzerland in the 19th century.

When you're autistic it can be difficult to change routines, even bad ones. For summer I slept with a fan in my bedroom. The noise helps me sleep. But it's too cold now and the cool air hurts my back. Yesterday I broke my routine. Now I use a white noise generator and I woke up pain free today. 🦊🧡

My thoughts go to the victims of 9/11 as it happened 25 years ago today. I was 9 at the time. I watched the news with my grandparents and they phoned my aunt who lives in New York state. Everyone was crying, I was too. But I was too young. I didn't fully understand what happened until years later.
A photo of the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City at sunset. Taken before September 11, 2001.

I couldn't bring myself to post a photo from 9/11. I felt this was more appropriate.

My social batteries are used up for today but I'm happy. I even replied to a few comments. 🦊🧡 I really wanna talk more with people. Had a phase around 2016-2021 where I was active on GBATemp. I talked a lot, even made friends. Then I kinda got quiet and anxious. I wanna be like my old self again!

I do like the look of the remake, but the original is still there. And I still love playing it.

The Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake trailer made me want to play. I love the game, I'm nostalgic. 🦊 But was another 1:1 remake necessary? The N64 original + 3DS version still exist. So maybe I don't need it? I don't have a Switch 2 yet. I'll celebrate 40 Years of Zelda by playing my N64 like in 1998.

Does anyone remember Project Milo (aka Milo and Kate) by Peter Molyneux / Lionhead Studios of Black & White fame? That bizarre Xbox 360 Kinect tech demo? It has been released: hiddenpalace.org/Milo_and_Kat... Milo was "virtual boy" you could interact with via Kinect. It was uncanny and a failure.

I want to stop giving a sh*t about people unfollowing me when I post more weird things. Like my werewolf dream today. 🐺 Always happens, always makes me feel a little "Maybe I shouldn't have posted that?". But the world is so boring without weirdness, individuality and uniqueness. Let me be weird.

I get along really well with other people on the autism / neurodivergent spectrum. 🦊 But some people overwhelm me. Those who demand your attention 24/7 and get upset when you don't write back quickly. Sometimes I need days off when my social batteries are a bit low. I just can't be social 24/7. :P

I dreamed I woke up in the middle of the night and looked at the night sky and saw a green glow, like the northern lights, and then I turned into a werewolf. 🐺 I looked at my hands and saw them turning into claws. That was a weird dream. I wanted to write it down before it's gone from my memory.

As an autistic person I have difficulty understanding things that aren't said directly. I have misunderstandings where people get mad at me and I don't know what I did wrong. Because I missed something that's obvious to everyone else but not me. Things that weren't said directly. 🦊

A CD-R I burned myself back in 2004. The material degraded over time. The disc became useless. Let this be a warning to all who have old home burned discs laying around. If there's anything of importance on them back them up. Longevity depends on the brand but they all will degrade eventually.

One of the saddest things about being autistic is when you have niche special interests nobody cares about 🦊 I love retro games, game prototypes / cut content, English / Scottish / Irish folk and 70s electronic music. I never find anyone who shares any of my interests, so I can't nerd out about it.

If there's one thing I like about the modern internet it's how more and more libraries are digitising their archives and making them available online to students and researchers. As a hobby folklorist nothing makes me happier than browsing digital collections of field recordings of folk songs. 🦊🎵

Loving Henry - By Harold & Margaret Winters on "Songs of Our Mountains" (1966). Scottish Murder Ballad. It survived better in the Appalachian Mountains than its home country. This obscure record was never reissued which is a shame because the performances on it are great.

The Unquiet Grave - Sung by Ed McCurdy on "The Ballad Record" (1955). Another ghost ballad. And more obscure out of print folk records from the 50s and 60s. According to the song excessive mourning disturbs the dead. Basically it told people to get over their grief and move on.

Lost Jimmy Whalen - Sung by Paul Clayton on "Timber-r-r!" (1958). Irish Canadian Ghost Ballad based on a real drowning accident. Paul Clayton was an American folksinger and folklorist in the 1950s & 1960s. He was gay and took his own life at 36 years old due to depression related to his sexuality.

If anybody wonders why I have social anxiety. It's because of my autism. I can't predict how people react to what I say/write. And the worst thing is, sometimes people get really mad at me and I don't understand why. It made me insecure and anxious when interacting with anyone I don't know well. 🦊

Sometimes I'm sad when people unfollow me. 🦊 But followers are just a meaningless number. Something to make your dopamine rise. People who actually like me or find the things I talk about interesting. They're the ones who count.

I bought this because it was cheap. 🦊🎵 Kraftwerk - Я Твой Слуга Я Твой Работник ("I'm your servant, I'm your worker") 2xLP Live in Munich Germany Circus Krone 12 June 1981 I had a version of this bootleg on orange vinyl previously that I sold to my friend Babass.
Kraftwerk Live in Munich 1981 - Vinyl Sleeve Front

Bootleg 2x vinyl LP of a Kraftwerk live audience recording from the Computer World Tour 1981.

The orange vinyl came with a cardboard sleeve. This one is wrapped in thin folded paper.

Another vintage Kraftwerk bootleg. This one is from 1982. The sleeve reads "Made in England", but it might as well have originated in Eastern Europe. Bootleggers often intentionally obscured the place of origin. It's on black vinyl but orange coloured vinyl with the same cover art also exists.

The recording has a very distinct, bass heavy sound which stands out. There's a cassette recording of a KW concert taped at Metropol Berlin on 10 June 1981 which has the same distinct sound which leads me to believe both shows were taped by the same person using the same equipment.

Not much to say about this other than it being a flawed recording of a fantastic concert and one of the few to feature the songs with German lyrics. I prefer the German versions of most KW songs because they have a rhythmic emphasis on syllables that's lost in the English translations.

The set list was as follows:

Vocoder Intro
Nummern
Computerwelt
Computerliebe
Heimcomputer
Das Modell
Neonlicht
Geigerzähler
Radioaktivität
Die Stimme Der Energie
Uran
Die Sonne, Der Mond, Die Sterne
Ohm Sweet Ohm

Echolalia - It's when people repeat words, sounds or phrases they heard over and over. It can be a form of autistic stimming. But I also do it when I get fixated on a pleasant sound. Sometimes I meow. 🐱 Or I keep repeating words or songs. Like this fragment of the Scottish fairy ballad Tam Lin. 🦊🎵
