my thesis is that metalcore with a clean verse + heavy chorus(eg caskets, bad omens) is for posers who just want to put something heavy in their music so they seem hard. while metalcore with a heavy verse + clean chorus(eg invent animate, structures) is for people who actually understand the genre.
