Use ALT text. It's relatively easy to do, you can set Bluesky to not allow you to post pics without it, and you can easily search up best practices for it. The added bonus is that you're more likely to get more engagement as well.

One of my favourite fanart genres I will never get sick of is every ship at minimum 1 (one) piece of art based on Klimt's "The Kiss." But I need more based on Frederic William Burton's "The Meeting On the Turret Stairs." Especially for Ferdibert. If there is Ferdibert art based on that, tell me.

my vampire!Hubert Ferdibert fic is at 24,000+ words. The outline for the final act has gone completely out the window at this point though I may be able to sort of steer it back. It's just in fully uncharted territory and I have no idea what's happening in it. Fun!

I have so few complaints about this book. Yet it is also a stark reminder that any given narrative device can overstay its welcome. For me, with dramatic irony, that is when I've figured out the secret before the 25% mark but the protagonist is still struggling more than 75% of the way in.

IF english isn't your first language, I know there are some languages where epithets read more naturally than English and where they are used in writing! But if you know a character's name they are awkward and clunky in English and it reads more easily to use a name or pronoun. >

Irennan is a male drow with collar-length white hair that's swept back from his face except for a stubborn strand that hangs down by his cheek. In this screenshot, taken at the nighttime Rivington camp in act 3, he and Gale are framed from the upper arms to the tops of their heads, and are doing a little headbutt of love--their foreheads touching.
