The thing is, I think if Democratic leadership actually *were* the liberals they claim to be, their behavior would have been very different this past year. But they are not what they claim to be. I don’t think Schumer, Jeffries, etc. are just “cowardly” liberals, even that is too generous.

My take on the Kat stuff is that when I said “I want more crazy, unqualified, kinda trashy people to run as progressive Democrats” I meant it. It just makes me root for her more. The more ludicrous scandals, the better. That’s my ideal Democrat. In an insane world you need to be insane to win.
