Reposted by Xenocrypt#1 Shoup Fan @oneshoup.bsky.social · 07/10/2026This is even weirder than @xenocryptsite.bsky.social suggests because not only: do voters not change behavior much or split tickets, and yet elections do change but! voters have changed dramatically on region and class, and yet somehow this has mostly come out to 50/50 since 2008. Odd IMO! 2234

Xenocrypt @xenocryptsite.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Like the stakes of the plot and what the bad guy was trying to do and how to wrap it all up in an action finale (which humorously featured about four different climactic speeches as if they were trying to minimize how much actual action to include), that seemed a little shaky, but it's a fun show. 020

Xenocrypt @xenocryptsite.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Watching "Spider-Noir". Genuine effort put into this arguably terrible idea, which is really in the spirit of comics. (I wonder if the original Spider-Noir comics are any good?) 4202

It drives me crazy that the Salem Witch Trials are primarily present in fiction as a place where there were real witches, but the reason it was so important is that there were no witches and this was an event that undermined Puritan ideals in the late 1600s 3164

Xenocrypt @xenocryptsite.bsky.social · 10/08/2026"Diarra From Detroit" is a comedy mystery where generally the clues are shown to the audience throughout the episode and then Diarra, every episode, makes a reasonable inference to advance the plot. This is Mystery 101 stuff but I feel like many shows don't even do this much. 170
