There are so many games I'm looking forward to over the next year or so, but because I am weird, I am absolutely jumping on Frebbventure Alliance on day one. The original game was the most 'Sonic fangame dev goes commercial' thing ever. So many OCs, so many clashing tones and ideas. So much heart.

Videogames are just cool. Big, small, fangames, mods, whatever. I know it's a stressful job making and selling them, but if your role is literally ANYTHING ELSE then there's no reason to be miserable about them. Or to have them make you miserable, for that matter. There's so much it's overwhelming!

105 - Kirby Wacky Episode ( #Fangame, #Free, #Itchio ) A fun Kirby fan game with new cool unique mechanics of movementation, is short and has only 5 skills one of them is new, but the new movements add depth and feels so good.

This is by far the most interesting GOTY list I've seen this year. I don't care if a random group of people think famous game A is better than famous game B, I want to see cool obscure stuff. And this has TONS of them! I would never have found "Gnomes and Knights" or "Liminal Void" otherwise.

The Legend of Dark Witch Renovation - [Inside System] Remaster of the original Legend of Dark Witch, a mix of Mega Man and Gradius + cute characters and a parry like SF3 . The Remaster have a mix of redrawn and filtered graphics with rebalanced gameplay and some new feactures. Pretty Good.

Touhou Gendanshou: Unlimited Heroes Developer: Inside System Platform: PC Year: 2010 A Mega Man + Gradius inspired Touhou fangame, one of Inside System's earliest works. This first version was refined in later games (X, Y) and eventually reimagined as The Legend of Dark Witch.
