Just because I’m not a liberal doesn’t make me a conservative or whatever those creatures on X are. Carney has been excellent in foreign affairs but his domestic politics are historically Canadian-conservative. Canada doesn’t need more austerity at home. Carney isn’t a cartoon villain…

To no one's surprise, PM Carney has slashed business taxes even further.
Now Canada's marginal effective tax rate on new business investment will fall from roughly 13% to 6.4% - the lowest of any major economy in the world and less than half the rate in the United States.
That's not good news for Canadians. It means we get hardly any benefit from new investments -- while taking on a lot of the costs.
The newest measure - the Productivity Mega-Deduction -- is estimated to cost Canadians $36 billion
over five years.
That's a LOT of money that could otherwise go towards the services & public infrastruture that would actually benefit most of us.
