Ended up buying an unused Twin Stick EX. Expensive but afaik should last a long time. I'll be sure to practice on this before my next japan trip whenever that is.. Getting used to the controller in arcade environment is neat but would save a lot of time to just focus on matches.

Pragmata is pretty fun. Feel like it's lacking a mode to really mix up enemy behavior ike godhard in vanquish. Maybe low% hard mode runs would scratch that itch partly. Wish you didn't have to do item hunting for mods etc every run & full NG+ equipment is too strong. Endgame is great at being linear
