The thing I hate the most about the term influencer is that it's not 100% an inaccurate description of what they do, but it does reveal the callous brutal distain for everything else they do as part of their job. Their only value to some is seen in who they can influence and to what extent.

Addressing climate change is not a “pass/fail” scenario. It is a process of mitigating severity that will happen in our lifetimes. Saying “it’s over, do whatever you want” is both foolhardy and literally incorrect. We can always make a difference — and will continue to do so.
