And that's the HTTP Client example talking to the HTTP Server example. Signals are next to get working.

This is a very good point. Anthropic are arguing for AI rights. But we should do human rights properly first.

And that's the HTTP client example working; 5 minutes is all it took to add stream support 👏. Well, 10 minutes because I had to dive into some things; between the #PHP RFC and the PR landing, there were some changes afterwards.

Finally taking some real steps into my OpenTelemetry adventure. With the project behind wyrimaps.net/wow handling getting the game's minimap images, converting them, and all. Turns out I might have been going all in too much, judging by the ingestion metrics 🤦 #php #otel #fibers
Dashboard monitoring traces ingestion showing brief rate spikes near 21:00 and 05:20 and a rising spike to ~155 kB/s by 07:30; a single large daily ingestion bar ~200 MiB around midnight; and discarded spans peaking ~3 k/s near 21:00.

What's the worst security bug you've found buried in legacy code you inherited? I'll go first: an MD5 password check using `==` let "magic hash" strings starting with `0e` log in without the real password. PHP saw `0 == 0`. In prod for years. Your turn. #PHP #Security #AppSec
