A man was found at 8 AM this morning hanging from a tree near the 9300 block area of D’Arcy Road in Westphalia, Maryland in PG County. No details have been provided other than it has now been determined to be a suicide. Has anyone seen this in the local news?

A little sketch of what it looks like to world build! [ #art #sketch #ocsky #artsky ]

A drawing of the author's OC/Sona Comet Chimera sitting before a graph-paper esque background, atop a cosmic floor. They are smiling as they spin a planet from nothingness, perhaps like cotton candy or a throwing wheel.

I professionally printed my first set of original playing cards withart by me! I'll be selling these at local conventions and shows, but I'm also hosting a kickstarter to help me fund this project in the near future! #art #illustration #graphicdesign #playingcards #artist #artwork #characterdesign

Frontside and Backside of professionally printed playing cards, shrinkwrapped. The colors are pink, yellow, and blue.

🌿🌿🌿- From 2023, Death & Renaissance #Persephone #Art #Illustration

A black woman with natural hair wearing a green wreath, skull earrings, and a black gown, sits with her son on her lap. He is wearing a golden laurel wreath, shorts, and a polo/sweater vest. She's smiling at him while he looks on curiously. They're both sitting in a nondescript gradient background.

I don't love gradient maps but that's probably because I just don't have enough practice with them. I think this looks neat either way.

Here's my take on the 7 Deadly Sins from 2023. I'm using 9 total in reference to an esoteric branch of pseudoscience. These guys were made for a conceptual space and are due for a redesign for sure haha. #Art #CharacterDesign

A detailed height chart with 9 horned figures. They're all color coded and representation of the 7 traditional deadly sins plus 2 more. From left to right they are representative of: Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Fear, Deceit, and Pride.

Knights with weird weapons! For a small-ish character design project. #Knight #FantasyArt #OC #CharacterDesign #Illustration

$An assortment of the half-bodies of nine (9) colorful knights in full suits of armor. Above each of their heads is their corresponding weapon, all of which are inspired by various non-weapon implements. From left to right there is: An umbrella, a baseball bat, a shield of some kind, a monkey wrench, a large hooped staff, a sword that vaguely resembles a pair of scissors, a sword that resembles a fluorescent bulb, a sword that resembles a fire poker, and a sword that resembles a large jawbone fractured from some great beast.$

A white wolf with red eyeliner and body paint (as well as a white circle in the center of their head) stands poised to attack. It carries on its back a bronze(green) disk surrounded by orange flames. It is alone on an off-yellow white background. This is the god Amaterasu from the game franchise, Okami, penned by the author.

sometimes you feel apprehension about something and know you should do it. But sometimes you know something is the right thing to do and have an obligation to carry on. Today's the kind of day where I'm feeling the latter!!! It's time for an adventure!!

I was almost inclined to agree with you, but I went over there for a sec. You have to pay to remove ads, which are majorly ai slop, and you also have a separate payment for specific "supporter" badges. Even though ppl still use it, tumblr is beyond cooked. Any resource you spend on them goes to ai.

the thing progressive wypipo tend not to understand with irritating regularity is that while "systems" are to blame for many of our problems those "systems" are 100% perpetuated by PEOPLE, including the idiots who say an issue is "systemic" without pinpointing exactly WHO is operating the machinery.

I always see nonpartisan, righteous anger at public art. Everyone loves to hate a concrete blob bought with taxpayer money, what's it even meant to be etc. My hot take: art funding is good and there's no benign policy for keeping out 'bad' art. You really just gotta fund it until a good one happens
