This 33-year-old nurse told the FBI she knew she was “going to set him free” after border patrol agents brought in a man whose face was bloodied and seriously injured. She treated him and helped him escape, and she faces charges now. He got away, and they never relocated him.

Oh good. Like the rest of us I’ve been worried sick about whether Irish data centres are going to be able to afford their energy bills this winter…
Data centres in Ireland to get cut-price gas in exchange for possible disruption of supply
Data-centre expansion will make it hard to source enough gas to meet demand during extreme cold events, state regulator warnsData centres are to get cut-price gas in return for accepting a possibility of disruption to their supply under a proposal from the energy regulator.
The move comes as the regulator, the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU), warns data-centre expansion will make it hard to source enough gas to meet national demand during extreme cold events.
CRU analysis shows just 17 planned new data centres would have the gas demand of six large gas-fired electricity generators or 2.6 million homes.
Under the proposed deal, new data centres would get discount gas on condition they accept that when gas demand is very high nationally they may experience planned interruptions.Helen Lovejoy WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE

Title icon‘All roads lead back to Boris’
The consolidation of power that’s now underway promises to benefit at least one Trump loyalist.

When the president returned to office, some officials saw various “power centers” that made up his legal team. One was led by Boris Epshteyn, Trump’s senior personal counsel, another by then-Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was close with Wiles, and another by Warrington, a conservative lawyer who had opened up a 2024 investigation into Epshteyn that resulted in no action against him. (Epshteyn denied any wrongdoing.)

Now Bondi and Warrington are gone, and Epshteyn allies have replaced both of them: Todd Blanche is the new attorney general, and Will Scharf, the president’s staff secretary, is the next White House counsel.

“All roads lead back to Boris,” as the administration official put it.

Epshteyn, importantly, is a longtime fixture in Trump’s world. Other, more peripheral allies of the president have also ascended over the past year to wield more outside influence on certain issues — among them, Republican operative Roger Stone.
