I've been suddenly inspired to finish writing my Trigun essay I started earlier this year and I just want to say, coming back to the sentence, "Lately it's been hard for me to be hopeful" 5 months after I originally wrote it and realizing you don't have to change it is definitely an Experience.

Part of that is probably bc I'm asexual, but having a body and brain that don't always work quite right is likely part of it too. Performing a feminine gender takes a lot of spoons that I need to use to function instead. And one of my symptoms is hyperandrogenism which is a whole other thing...

I never really thought about this, but now that I am, it aligns with some of my experiences too. I'm not blind, but I have other chronic conditions/disabilities, and even though I identify as a cis woman, I often feel out of place in more feminine spaces.

I'm very thankful that the majority of my friends are also neurodivergent in some way, bc we sort of have this understanding of "hey if I go radio silent it's not you, it's me." I still feel that guilt, but it doesn't become a spiral.
