there's something that needs to be said about how democrats don't enshrine LGBTQ+ protections in law because we are a captive voter base for them. i don't want to have to consider a vote for genocide-enabling liberals because it's the only way i can breathe for four years, or to protect queer kids.

My view - and I'm no expert, just an observer - is that people like Altman are indeed angling to create a race of slaves. I don't think all of the boosters are like that at all, but Altman and Musk definitely are, and they should be deplored for this and many other things.

I am on my knees begging just one (1) government in the world to treat AI companies like they would a company that had human "agents" that hacked into accounts and serves and stole data. Just prosecute the company and start arresting people! The problem will quite literally fix itself!
