It’s nice to have my work corroborated by another DNA test. What is also deeply gratifying is the vindication of Madison Hemings, Israel (Gillette) Jefferson who spoke of TJ and SH, & Fawn Brodie, who put the men’s recollections in her TJ bio that I read at 14 and got me started on this journey.

I'm busy processing the books I picked up at the estate sale yesterday. There's nothing quite like picking up a soiled, drab little book and then turning it over to find an important, rare anti-slavery book! This is the Liberty Minstrel, an anti-slavery songbook from the 1840s.

"Signs of Fascism" originated in my town. (Sequim, WA) I filmed it. I remember getting a call, "hey your video got 5,000 views." By the end of the day it had 60K. Over 100K in a few days from just one platform. Then my DM blew up! Everyone wanted to replicate the signs. Nice to see the signs today.

1) Thank you, Karin. I’m happy that both the 1998 and 2026 DNA tests results jibe with the historical evidence compiled in my first book. I also think the historical information alone should be enough. But I know the world we live in & why DNA was brought into the picture.

Here they are putting prisoners in chains, building whipping posts, and repairing holes the inmates cut in walls attempting to escape. These bills are the only record of those episodes 🗃️
