Golly gee, too bad we have no real world example of something that self-replicates endlessly with zero regard for the host it infects, even if it means an untimely end for itself without the host.

There arent enough people that had anyone explain how repeating the same sentence in any authoritarian regard results in a subconscious demeaning of the sentiment. Case in point: Make America Great Again Can't be that Great when your cars won't run and your energy grid dies after the transition.

I am a scientist – and the answer is climate change. Yes, there is nuance. Yes, it could take a long time to identify the precise mechanisms. But there is no question why ice and snow-related disasters are on the rise. Our planet is warming at an unprecedented rate, and humans are responsible.

Never quite got behind the people with the 'F@#K TRUDEAU' bumper stickers, thought it rather premature to see 'F@#K CARNEY' shortly after he was elected, but I'm considering adopting similar branding in lieu of his series of cowardice, backtracking, and oil propaganda deep throating.

Yes to all of this. We mobilized in similar ways during COVID-19: distilleries adapted to manufacture hand sanitizer, medical scientists raced to isolate and immobilize the virus GLOBALLY, government restrictions came down and most people complied. It's all possible, it's all feasible.

I know Winnipeg was settled due to the intersection of the Red and Assiniboine rivers, where mosquitoes were plentiful and readily supplied for all the mosquito farming that came to dominate the latter half of the 20th century. This was the great economic boon Winnipeg needed to get on the map.

My Canada Day Mark Carney terrible policies BINGO card is completely full. What are we going to do about it? Let’s go square by square together through the whole card to look at evidence together. I wouldn't call this the very worst government we've ever had without evidence to back me up. 🇨🇦🧵 1/
The top of this graphic says "Mark Carney BINGO Card" and it's a five by five grid of red squares with white text on a white background, apart from the centre square which contains a picture of the Canadian prime minister.

Reading left to right in rows the squares read:

Tax cuts for the very rich

Appeasing separatists

Support for war crimes

Attacks on asylum seekers

Cuts to public health

Attacks on first nations

Undercuts the rule of law

Lying to citizens

Less pesticide safety

Endangers national economy

Mass surveillance policies

Foreign profits first

(picture of a really bad prime minister)

Arming a literal genocide

Extinction for profits

Cuts to diplomacy and aid

Attacks on labour

No dental or pharmacare

Anti transparency

Cutting food inspectors

Climate arson policies

National security risks

Tech bros' agenda

Defunding consumer protection

Contempt for democracy
