New in PN: Retire in peace "McConnell would never be allowed to drive a car, babysit young children, or file his own taxes. Why, then, should a cognitively incapacitated 82-year-old retain one of the most important positions of power within the national government?"

Grateful for @courtneyr.dev today, especially for this incredibly insightful walkthrough of her approach to implementing the LLM Wiki pattern Karpathy lobbed out into the world a few months ago: courtneyr.dev/2026/04/15/l... As a habitual note-taker, I found it especially dense with value.

I've received criticism in the past for taking a lot of photos, but man, my memory is shite and it is sooo wonderful to sit and flip through random photos. It gives me a ton of little reminders how much I love my life 😍 I want to live forever, to be clear — but if I died today, I'd die happy.

I'm in the market for a new WP maintenance platform AND ticketing system! Looking at Glow, but it seems like it could get a little spendy, as I'd need to add on team members and do the whitelabeling... Starting to think about building my own thing. Someone talk me out of it 😅

I don't want to read, I don't want to watch any video. I put down my phone, I just want to sit and think in peace. Anyone else getting these feels?

From a purely capitalist perspective, DEI makes sense. The wider the range of people working at your organization, the wider range of perspectives and needs you’ll have direct access to, which in turn will make your product more valuable to a greater audience, which means more money.
