A male Giant Anteater casually knuckle walks on it's way in search of termite mounds, which is where the termite mounds are found in for the anteater to sustain its insectivorous diet.

Being South America's most famous insectivorous mammal, these xenarthran mammals (which include armadillos and sloths) are found in the grasslands and rainforests all around South America, using their claws to dig into termite mounds and using their tongue from its elongated snout to suck up the insects.

As I said in my bunker backup, the giant anteater not only uses its claws for digging up termites, but also uses them for self defense whenever threatened, and using its tail as a blanket to help them keep warm inspite of the heat of the weather. And they can also swim in water making them good swimmers when crossing the wetlands.

However, the main threat to giant anteaters isn't wildfires, predation by jaguars or pumas, but instead human conflict which interferes with their habitat as giant anteaters risk crossing man-made roads that are a danger to their lives, hence why people must be careful with driving on the road because the anteater could get fatally injured.

And that's why giant anteaters are classified as vulnerable to this day.

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes
