Conflating this with normal data center is so absurd, the difference in resources for hosting a website and an LLM is order of magnitudes. No even close. Trying to justify plowing ahead with the development on pinky promises for electrical upgrades that DO NOT EXIST is not a serious position.

As an example, if you ask an LLM to edit a paper, you are telling it how to edit that paper, whether you realize it or not. It can only be as kind, or as ruthless as the guardrails you give it. You are just having it cannibalize your words into something you think is better. That's not editing.

How is that instructive or indicative of reasoning at all? That's no different than asking it any other question. Just because the form of the question you are asking changes doesn't mean the mechanics of operatation for the LLM are somehow different. That's seeing what you want to see.
