I know I'm alone in this, but I hate transitioning seasons. It's 58° right now. Too cold for the ac, too warm for the heat. Pick a season, weather. It's been like this for days! I'd just as soon turn the heat on but it's going back into the 80s soon.

We've been seeing this pretty brown kitty outside the past few months. Today we used icky Facebook to ask if it was anyone's and we found the owners! This kitty has been missing since July and basically lives on our property. Hopefully they can catch them. 🤞

Been rereading a lot of trek novels this year and I've reached my personal shark jump moment: when they blow up the original DS9 to replace it with a new super station in its place. Good stories, but I despise the creative decision to do that.

The way the dialogue was written in the TNG/DS9/VOY era. It sometimes gets criticised as being flat and fake, but to my undiagnosed autistic young mind having characters calmly and clearly articulating issues and even emotions was SO helpful, I had no idea.
