I have no interest. For all the reasons that have already been discussed by many people who are way more qualified to talk about it than I am. There’s also the fact that it’s not even a well-written series of books, but that’s like 20th on the list

NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. In a series full of great jazzy scores, the unofficial entry features a pretty godawful thing barfed up by Michel Legrand (and he wrote Ice Station Zebra for cripes sake) (I still got the La La Land Records release)

1. Of these sorts of discussions meant anything, we would have had that SJ Clarkson movie. 2. Darker doesn’t always mean bad. (see: “Chain of Command”). Again, I’ll hold off judgement until I actually see something

Something men, anyone, can do when they encounter offensive humor is ask the joke-teller "why is that funny, can you explain that to me?" I grew up with men who told rape jokes & from my own experience, they're rarely challenged. You dont need to yell, but challenge; make them explain themselves.

I just want to point out that the average mortgage rate in the 1980s was almost 13% A big part of the freak out over interest rates today is that rates were held at or near 0% for way too long, conditioning people to think lending was cheap. And probably had a big hand in today’s absurd home prices

As maddening as it is to read “this is the first time… that I feel like is going to directly impact me”, this opportunity can and should be seized to make the point that caring about things BEFORE they impact you is the better option.
