Sauntered along Postman's walk in Aberlady yesterday. Scores of butterflies on the ivy lined path including 30+ red admirals. A nearby newly created wildflower meadow was bursting with plant & insect life (well done that farmer) @ukbutterflies.bsky.social @savebutterflies.bsky.social #eastlothian

Some dragonflies from the National trust for Scotland's reserve at St Abbs today. It's difficult enough photographing them without there being a gale blowing! Common darter and migrant hawker photographed but I reckon there were other species which I didn't. @britishdragonflies.bsky.social

After a lengthy spell with almost no fox action there has been regular action over the past week. I think this is a youngster. Tempted to call him/her big ears as they do seem large-ish! Another bigger fox around too, great to have them here #Edinburgh #garden #wildlife #fox

AI data centres are bad news for people and wildlife! Campaigners from 14 affected communities, are set to hold a protest in Edinburgh calling for a full moratorium on the building of AI data centres in Scotland at 11.30am on 3 September outside the Scottish Parliament.
A placard calling for 'no data cantres' superimposed with the words 'moratorium now'
