Ben Rice should be the only one allowed onto the team plane. The rest of them should have to walk home from St. Petersburg.

This is the thing I never see anyone talking about, though. Both the AP and many local newspapers were publishing AI-generated game stories for many years before ChatGPT was released. That ship sailed long ago. From 2014: mashable.com/archive/robo...

Meanwhile, the Trop is so loud that I can't even hear what these announcers are blathering on about. Making the TV louder makes everything louder... and they're still being swallowed in the noise. Which is fine. I don't expect they're telling me anything I don't know.

The Yankees had the better team than the Red Sox. But are they better than the Rays? I feel like both the Yankees and Rays have deficiencies, but I went into this series expecting the Rays to probably pull off the win. I'm still rooting for the Yankees to find a way to do it, but jeeeez.

Remember how the Red Sox took out their starters kinda early and then their bullpen got victimized? The Rays took out Peralta and the Yankees loaded the bases... but couldn't break through. Meanwhile the Yankees went to their 'pen and... *facepalm*

I feel like the Yankees ought to consider all wearing acoustic filters when they play in the dome. It's so loud, that affects adrenaline and biomechanics. Wearing Loops or similar ear filters that reduce the dB but still let you hear might help some of the sloppy play from "nerves."

Exactly this. And in fact, many models *have* been created this way, and decades of prior machine learning systems *were* created this way, consensually. These things are choices! People are STILL working this way! It’s not just that a better world is possible — it already EXISTS. We can nurture it.

The #Padres elected to carry only 11 pitchers, since Craig Stammen doesn't trust anyone else, anyway. They leaned heavily on Adrian Morejon in Game 1 and Mason Miller in Game 2. They used the same two top middle relievers in each. And none of it worked. Welp. padresmission.com/news-rumors/...
