Lately I’ve been really into learning things that would make me an apocalypse team asset. ie: different knots and how to tie them, all about plants, from their medicinal properties to how to tell time/ location in a forest, using trees. Also, I can do 5 1/2 pull-ups.

I also love that I’m racially ambiguous enough that no matter wherever I am in Europe I pass for most nationalities and 9/10 times people will speak to me in the language of the country I’m visiting. And I usually know just enough of said language to keep up the rouse.

My quitting smoking journey has come full stop being in europe but, that’s entirely okay. It’s be a shame to not indulge when the tobacco is so good and there are ashtrays on every single table. Plus, everyone knows cigarettes after 3 glasses of wine/ accompanied by espresso don’t count.

My date and I went to see some live jazz last night and it was SO bad, I turned over to give him a raised eye brow and he had his hand over his mouth to stop from laughing, which nearly made me spit take beer from my nose. truly it was a wonderful bonding moment we laughed about it for hours

Got to chatting with some people at the pub about William Blake and they suggested I watch this Jim Jarmush film that Neil Young made the score for; starring Jonny Depp as Billy Blake. The film is called DeadMan and it’s completely reignited my love of b&w movies.
