I decided to swap out a surge protector after I was sure it had been damaged. This led to me pulling out a container I had dumped things in for later, and made a big mess. 10 minutes before my work day starts. (I did get the mess mostly contained for me to clean up later.)

To celebrate our grad, I made a strawberry tres leches cake. I added strawberry syrup to every single stage of the cake. Cake? The milks? The whipped cream? I adjusted the sugar for all of it, and the end result was still a little bit sweeter, but a big hit.

A Disney fan was complaining that the Muppets version of Rockin Rollercoaster is all wrong. That instead of Kelly Clarkson, they should have used a "Disney girl" I pointed out the wider appeal with Kelly, and they already got a former "Disney girl" to relaunch the Muppet Show and it was perfect.

For Easter, we make pot roast. It's emeril's garlic studded pot roast in food network's site. I made it the day after we moved in to the house and I wanted something delicious that was low touch, since we were still settling in. It's become a yearly tradition.

Lather, rinse, repeat. That's what happens in hockey with head coaches. Drop one that doesn't get you to the playoffs, and hire a coach who was fired by their last team for the same reason. There's a distinct lack of space for new coaches in any sport, but hockey feels especially bad.

At the local farmers market, there's a egg seller, where I can get a dozen green and brown eggs for $10. The tools are so gorgeous, and I've been using them to make breakfast with. I gently scramble them on low and throw in some finely diced mushrooms and shallots. So good.
