I decided to swap out a surge protector after I was sure it had been damaged. This led to me pulling out a container I had dumped things in for later, and made a big mess. 10 minutes before my work day starts. (I did get the mess mostly contained for me to clean up later.)

Today in people from the UK are gross online... Stumbled on a live feed from the fox channel on NY (local news, not fox news itself). A building in Manhattan structural issues. Lots of British flags next to people asking if a plane hit that building too, and other 9/11 jokes.

To celebrate our grad, I made a strawberry tres leches cake. I added strawberry syrup to every single stage of the cake. Cake? The milks? The whipped cream? I adjusted the sugar for all of it, and the end result was still a little bit sweeter, but a big hit.

I'd gotten a call from a local activist group on Fri trying to get people out to vote, bc less than 10% of registered voters had dropped off ballots or shown up for early voting. If you ever feel like your vote doesn't count, it absolutely counts on local elections. You can affect local politics!

Lather, rinse, repeat. That's what happens in hockey with head coaches. Drop one that doesn't get you to the playoffs, and hire a coach who was fired by their last team for the same reason. There's a distinct lack of space for new coaches in any sport, but hockey feels especially bad.
