The best advice I can give fellow readers is this: Don't be afraid to DNF a book you aren't enjoying. Read the last ten pages and see how it ends, if you must, but life's too short to waste time reading books you hate.

A collection of frogs for you in these trying times.
Five digital drawings of "frogs". One is inspired by an Ouroboros, another seems to have a carved turnip for a head, one is a somewhat scrungly witch, another wears a flowery shirt while drinking from a coconut, and finally one of them is "Bimble". Bimble looks like if a rock tried very hard to be a frog and almost succeeded.

Photo I took from the bus window. A view over a hedge across field. There is a highland cow grazing on far side of the field. Behind it, some trees and more hedges. The sky is pale blue with some smudgy purple lowlights. Some white and grey clouds are kind of smeared across it in places, fluffier towards the top right. There are peach/orange highlights on the clouds. Reflections on the window are giving the photo a dreamlike feel.

Artists! Quote with your art with dramatic lighting! 🌟
Digital painting of a northern emerald toucanet perched on a gray piece of wood with its body turned about three quarters toward the viewer and its head in profile facing left. The bird has luxurious wispy green feathers over much of its body with a touch of blue around the eye and under the beak. It has a very large curved beak that is yellow on top and black toward the bottom with white highlights. Its tail feathers are mostly out of sight but have a reddish-peach glow that is just visible. The background is a stark black which makes the colors of the bird pop.

Detail of a grave marker consisting of a curved piece of glass with the deceased's name etched on it. The support, seen through the glass, consists of a series of thin horizontal slats which form the shape of a cross. There are lots of trees in leaf in the background.View of the whole monument from the side showing the slats mentioned in the previous picture being set on a curved stone base forming an arc with the glass fixed to the top of it.
