It seems like it's not as bad as IGN made it out to be. BUT I still just can't help but feel like it's a slippery slope and it will not stay so minimal in future

Primetime (Oct 2) Definitely movie of the year material. I was completely engulfed in it and was left reeling when the credits rolled. The acting is absolutely top notch, and I loved the sinister notes that underlayed the entire thing. #WhisperillCinemaLog

it's so annoying when unironic parody accounts reply to ironic ones, like I'm here to see massively typoed posts from Knuckles the Echidna, not Mighty the Armadillo's legitimate thoughts on the situation

Bought vol 1 of the Sonic Generations OST I HAVE MISSED YOU SO MUCH

A screenshot from a music player app: the majority of space is taken up by the cover artwork which is mostly the same as the game's. At the bottom it reads the title, artist, and album: "Chemical Plant: Act 2, Jun Senoue, Sonic Generations Official Soundtrack, Vol. 1"

I remembered hot pockets existed and got excited at the prospect of getting some but wanted to see if of the sleeves were shitty for the environment. Well not only did I find they got rid of the genius sleeves they also are owned by NESTLÉ BABY. BECAUSE OF COURSE

Without making too much of a fuss about it, Nestlé (highlighted) issued a statement announcing that the sleeves would be a thing of the past come 2025.

(Probably Xenoblade 2 spoilers) Does Pneuma's "The Chosen One" Battle Skill refer to herself or Rex? Both the German and Spanish versions use the female form, but Italian uses the male form. However, the male form could also be interpreted as a general "unspecified/unknown" form.

The Transformers: The Movie (Sep 19) I knew nothing about this going into it as I was invited to watch the new theater run, but god, I get it now. The characters are fun and interesting, the art is incredible, and the story matters. Plus, the soundtrack is ridiculously good. #WhisperillCinemaLog

Poster for the movie, with the main characters all pointing guns towards the sky, lasers shooting upwards. Several villains are swooping in from the background and a large metallic planet with orange pincers and a mouth-like hole looms above.

Sonic Rush Original Groove Rush (Sep 18) With pure funky beaty goodness, you can't go wrong. I've played and listened to Jet Set Radio, and it gives the feeling that Naganuma really went all out once he got his hands on Sega's top series. Fave: Wrapped in Black #WhisperillMusicLog #Sonic

Cover artwork for the album. Uekawa artwork of Sonic fills most of the right side, with him in a dynamic leaned forward kind of pose, his left arm reaching across his face. The background is blue and purple with a pulse of lighter colors emanating in rings from around Sonic's wrist. An "echo" of that same Sonic artwork lies ahead of all of this, just the outline of his head. There's a thick bar on the bottom where the colors get much more saturated, with the words "SONIC RUSH" laid across. The top left of the entire image says, "Original Groove Rush."

I have an unconventional solution to the loneliness crisis and the erasure of third spaces...

Marketing graphic for Nintendo Streetpass on the 3DS. It shows white stick figures going about their days and the two in the middle are walking away from each other, one has a tote bag the other a briefcase. It shows 3DSes in their bags and green arrows forming a circle between the people. At the bottom is two 3DSes doing a wireless communication thing between them.

I'm liking the new style of the Ocarina of Time remake but people who say this is what Nintendo had always intended the game to look like is being disingenuous. It's an interesting new direction, you don't need to retcon decades of established art to make a point.

Not usually a fan of the font or style they used for the subtitle of Ravenous BUT in this case I think it's cool It usually just gives "edgy retro" to me but here it feels new, a stark contrast to the ominous stalwart look of other Metroid logos. It's gettin a lil cooky just like Samus herself
