(…) Whimsicott is against an opponent that uses a lot of Dragon and Ground moves, with Zamazenta is weak and other Fairies don’t have coverage. Still, the lack of a good Fast move is a big bottleneck in using this Pokémon as Tank in battles with less than 4 people in.

#PokemonGO Whimsicott comes to #MaxBattle, however, the naturally low stats don’t give much hope on following battles. The point Whimsicott shines is a relatively wide resistance, but still only have one double against Dragon despite being dual type. Only case I can think on using (…)

With that said, the pivot will likely include Aerodactyl, as Sneasler typically prefers better matchup support into Sun, which is where Aerodactyl is relevant. And I may need to sub in a more offensive Fairy type than Whimsicott if I do make this switch. That is team building. That is VGC 🙈

Aerodactyl disclaimer 🙈 I need a team that’s better into Rain, and a more offensive Fairy type. So I’m pivoting from Whimsicott. As such, I just want a strong Fire Water Grass core, a Fairy resist, and good Fairy type damage. I’ll likely be testing a variety of things from here.

Yeah I’ve considered it. My only concern is that Sableye wins the war of attrition, because it has a slower Prankster. And then Whimsicott is super vulnerable to Hurricane, Bullet Punch and Flash Cannon. I think I need to change my approach to how I’m training with Charizard to some extent.

ok that's pretty good, if you want to play an offensive team that doesn't have to click protect a lot it's pretty important that you can move before your opponent. i'd reccomend getting a tailwind setter with the prankster ability like whimsicott. i'd also recommend getting a water type

whimsicott can also learn encore so if your opponent protects you can encore them so they can only use protect, which effectively turns the battle into a 2v1
