iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Finally got around to mopping up my missing collectibles in Clair Obscur before it leaves Game Pass on the 15th. Was great to go back and revisit some of those areas! Got the completion now :D

Beat Well Dweller this morning and it was a great metroidvania! In addition to the fun traversal, combat, and story, it has excellent quality of life features so that getting 100% wasn't like beating my head against the wall. Starting to be really excited for anything Kyle Thompson makes!

I don’t care what anyone says but Pokémon is a hobby and a franchise for everyone no matter your age. Except for scalpers, there is no place for them in any hobby.

Time for more tattoos on Friday! Great way to end the week. Getting more fill done and maybe seeing if I can sneak some cute sticker art in amongst it :D

Made some pizza tonight! Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ as the sauce, tropea onions, pit bbq chicken, french fries, gouda, and some shredded cheddar and mozzarella. Came out great but didn't take time for an after pic :P

Work decided we couldn't go gently into July 4th vacation, so the next three days are going to be insane. At least I actually have no plans for the 4th and can just melt into a puddle on the couch :P

Working on ribbons for my Ash Greninja today! Just about done with the Elite 4 and then just need to do the Battle Tree.

Finished up 6 ribbon masters yesterday: Penny's Leafeon, Arven's Greedent, Crispin's Magmar, my Glastrier from Shield, Kriophoros the Whimsicott, and Cumin the Indeedee female. The first three are Blueberry Academy trades and the last three are on some ranked teams of mine! Got many more in process!

Found my old Nintendo handheld console and Pokemon games, so spent a few hours going through everything. Old DS won't charge, Emerald won't get past the load screen, Gold and Silver lost their save data. But I found a ton of legendaries, my original Platinum starter, and stories I need to finish!

"This game uses AI generated voices/imagry because the creators were on a budget" Aww.. I'm on a budget too. I can only afford to play and buy games made by artists and programmers and not theft machines.

Won 42 straight matches in Shining Pearl's Battle Tower, hopefully I can make 7 more to unlock master class level! But not tonight as I need to be able to focus and it's past bedtime :P

Sword Battle Tower knocked out (twice) and beat both the Galar Cup and Paldea Cup for good measure. Got 4 pokemon the Gourmet and Itemfinder Marks, now idling to get them Partner Marks. Back to Shining Pearl tomorrow... maybe Battle Tower there next?

Got all my poffins cooked, fed to the ribboners, and the contests have been conquered! Went through 8 sets of 6 contests, so I am mini-gamed out! Tomorrow I might head back to Sword and run the Battle Tower for the pokemon missing that ribbon. We'll see!

Tried to beat a Master rank contest in Shining Pearl and even with a very good showing on the Dance portion... fell a little short. Going to need to make some poffins I guess!

Going to try and hit Master Ball tier in Sword again, hit it in Scarlet for the first time, and reach the top of the Battle Tower in Shining Pearl... lots of fighting in my future! No real timeline except for whatever Champions does to the amount of people playing :P

Fired up Shining Pearl today and got so confused about where I left off :P But remembered most of my team and started collecting ribbons again! I like that you can move pokemon pretty freely to & from Sword, Scarlet, and Pearl. But those "day of the week" ribbons are going to be a bear :/

Got all my Galar ribbon masters updated with Paldea Champion ribbons and the three marks you can get on existing pokemon. Now to work on BBQs until I have enough BP to get all the League coach trades done! And am also working on my Violet playthrough for Iron Boulder and Iron Crown. Busy!
