If Canadians are serious about "Truth and Reconciliation", they should stop supporting Israel's livestreamed genocide of Palestinians. It's hard to take Canadians seriously when they can't even acknowledge the basic truth that from Turtle Island to Palestine, colonization is a crime.

I thought for sure that Carney would use this case as an excuse to push Bill C-22, but this story shows that surveillance bill wouldn't have made a difference. OpenAI already had the capability to track and then report this, and just... didn't. "Cops need lawful access to keep us safe" is bullshit.

"Business groups, however, were favourable." it's \not that hard to avoid strikes. For example, flight attendants wouldn't have gone on strike if they were paid for all the hours they work in the first place. But ok, talk about how unions have "responsibilities" to end strikes but not businesses.

Not only would this not be sufficient to mount an immune response that is neutralizing (stops infection from the pathogen the vaccine is for), but it also is only a tiny fraction of the 0.5mL is antigen or pathogen, but you don't want to be vaccinating with a volume too small.

It is fascinating how much becoming more progressively disabled has made effective risk assessment easier - when life gives you a reliably unreliable body, your threshold for additional risk is much lower. I and my spouse both plan before, and are ready to bail whenever it gets dicey.

The thing is, everybody & his cat has known what went down in Samoa since way before the confirmation hearings. 83 people died because of Bobby, mostly little kids. We can't do anything if we don't win in Nov. Get out the vote. The 2019 letter in question, from RFK to the prime minister of Samoa:
Letter text: "Dear Honorable Prime Minister, Fa'afeiloa I am writing this letter to you in the hope that we might be helpful to the peopleofyour great nation. For most of the world, investigation of adverse health events associated with vaccines-or any pharmaceutical for that matter-is both difficult and time consuming. Health information systems are rarely designed to support rapid study of associations between diagnoses andspecific vaccination events. It is, however, known that vaccines vary both lot-to-lot from specific manufacturers, and between manufacturers for a single vaccine type. This makes the likelihood of adverse lot and manufacturer specific effects higher for smaller nations where all vaccine can be from few or asingle lot and manufacturer. I believe the deaths associated recently with MMR vaccine in the Independent State of Samoavmay have been manifestations these effects. To evaluate whether or not this has been experienced in Samoa, I would propose my team conduct detailed health informatics assessment in Samoa of what happened with your MMR vaccines. My team includes a physician who has performed informatics work for ministries of health in 48 countries over the past 30 years. He believes this work can be completed quickly. Going forward, Samoa would be well servedtoexpand capacity for quickly performing this classofanalysis for all pharmaceuticals prescribed and dispensed. This is invaluable not only for investigation of severe adverse events, but also for the systematic improvement in management of chronic illnesses like essential hypertension and diabetes. It will also be fully consistent with the Samoa Health System Strengthening Program.I wish to congratulate you and your MinisterofHealth for your quick attention to the tragic deaths temporally associated with MMR vaccines.I look forward to your reply to my proposal. So glad the feds showed some sense - they've listened to the 87K survey respondents on the Billy Bishop Airport expansion to not expand the airport, citing the overwhelmingly negative responses to the plan. Here's hoping they take the same tack with the use of AI.
July 24, 2026
“The Government of Canada is moving with speed and ambition to build the ports, rail, transit, and other infrastructure that will connect Canada and Canadians to the world.
In the Greater Toronto Area, this is part of an integrated strategy that includes the expansion of Toronto Pearson Airport, the construction of Canda's first high-speed rail network, and other major investments in our municipal and regional transit systems.
Billy Bishop Airport is a critical part of Canada's air transportation network located in the heart of Toronto's waterfront community. As we ensure its future as a vital transportation, economic, and tourism hub for Toronto, it is important that we do it with and for Canadians.
For instance, the airport recently opened a state-of-the-art customs pre-clearance facility, supported by a $30 million federal investment.
At this stage, I can confirm that our focus lies exclusively on the approved safety enhancements, which are currently taking place, and are required to maintain safe operations at the airport. They are expected to be completed in mid-2027. Toronto voices will shape any future plans for Billy Bishop Airport. Through this public consultation, we have listened to feedback on a range of issues, including transportation, economics, environmental protection, noise, housing, and quality of life.
We will always work collaboratively with our partners in studying the region's connectivity needs and protecting the interests of local residents. However, we will not pursue any plans that infringe on treasured public spaces like Little Norway Park or Hanlan's Point Beach, result in elevated noise, have significant environmental impacts, or hinder Toronto's ability to build much-needed housing.
