This some advanced tankie "thought". Russia has a UNSC seat & world's largest amounts of land, gas, oil and NUKES. Russia also has no agency over our own actions and so cannot be held accountable and therefore must be excused and appeased.

I’m beginning to suspect that wasting years dragging feet on military aid to Ukraine and playing escalation management games, giving an aggressive militaristic Russia the time and resources to ramp up its war machine to full power against the free world, might not have been the brightest idea.

A boy riding his bike near Kramatorsk was just murdered by a Russian drone. The Russians then posted the footage of their own crime. It is a deliberate campaign of terror against Ukraine’s civilian population, hunting ordinary people going about their lives, while much of the world simply watches.

Russia cannot ‘respond’ or ‘retaliate’ to an illegal war of choice it started, just as there can be no equivalence between the victim of aggression and the aggressor.
