As my interests collide, starting to think the Tabihikitsuke, a diary by Kujō Masamoto of village administration and drama (as currently being the focus of a symposium by @jppinfo.bsky.social) would make an EXCELLENT TTRPG using DramaSystem, GURPS, or Swords of the Serpentine depending on flavor.
