stop. if you think the existence of a warrant is part of the conversation in any way, you cannot, by definition, argue that it makes any difference whether the guy they killed had a warrant or not. because right guy or wrong guy, an arrest warrant isn't a death sentence.

A question I get a lot is “I signed up for DSA, but how to I actually get integrated” Often, the core members of your local chapter are at capacity and not on top of tracking every person that joins and walking them through this process- so I want to talk about how take it into your own hands

All citizens should be inherently hostile toward all politicians. They work FOR us but they have power OVER us too. There should be no friendship or loyalty there. But people hate one "side" so much they'll excuse outright evil on their "side," as if it's not all the same billionaires paying them

spent last night wide awake drenched in cold sweat because our cat disappeared. scoured the basement and under parked cars outside. my wife sat crying on the stoop. We could only figure he’d gotten trapped on the balcony— my fault —and jumped. at 3:30 i made missing cat posts on nextdoor and ig.

1/3 On 2/12, border czar Tom Homan announced a draw down of federal agents in the Twin Cities. We do not trust this announcement, & neither should anyone else. We have forced them into a partial retreat, but we are not done. We will not stop until the last whistle is blown.

Boycotts are necessary! Big protests are necessary! Economic blackouts are necessary! Workers calling out sick or taking time off to support these causes is necessary! Mutual aid is BEYOND necessary! But they are not strikes.

I've been here 24 hours, but already with what I've seen, well, I genuinely believe we're going to win. People here are well aware that what happens here impacts the entire country, that it sets the tone for resistance. ICE is angry, ICE is terrified, of how deeply unpopular it is.

love how the article presents this as a bad thing
The added inventory, coupled with rent control, has helped to slow the rapid rent increases, and buyers can’t charge enough to recoup their investment.
