If two Cybertrucks procreate, do they both only get supervised custody every other weekend?

I saw *two* Cybertrucks this evening, so I feel like I deserve some kind of compensation, perhaps in the form of a humorously oversized check.

Because heaven forbid we look at different repertoires instead of Yet Another Goddamn Schenker Graph On Brahms. And I say that as someone who likes Brahms and believes Schenkerian-like techniques still have a place in analysis.

I don't let my kids watch YouTube and on the one hand I sort of feel like one of those parents from when I was kid who didn't allow The Simpsons or Beavis & Butthead but on the other hand I don't want to live with a Christian nationalist radicalized by a guy who does frisbee tricks

wild to be living in a world with live-streamed state executions and legal daylight kidnappings, but every time you turn around some loser is saying, hey man, what if art were completely frictionless? what if we killed even the possibility of human connection??

the reason “AI will create so much abundance we will have a utopian society” rhetoric falls so flat is that the people building it will never, ever share their bounty unless it is taken from them and we all know it

I genuinely mean this. I cannot imagine a more bleak dystopian notion than the idea of all art being turned into slop designed to coddle my exact perceived intentions. The point of literature, film, music, and art is to be exposed to the interior lives of others. Who are these people.

This is a moral atrocity and it needs to be loudly condemned as such. There is a reason that democracies *don't* do publicly televised executions (and why many don't execute people at all): it inculcates and rewards bloodthirst, which corrupts the spirit and corrodes the foundation of the polity.

This is a thing I find people alarmingly slow to realize: the goal is not to have a country without immigrants. The goal is to have a country full of immigrants who have no legal rights or personhood whatsoever and who any citizen can blow a whistle and have deported.

Heads up, Cincinnati - especially east siders heading to Blink and Queen Bee runners. VP Vance will be in town this weekend.
CINCINNATI, OH — Starting the morning of Friday, October 9, through the afternoon of Monday, October 12 the following road and sidewalk closures will be in place:

•	William Howard Taft Road between 1905 William Howard Taft Road and East McMillan Street;

•	Collins Avenue between William Howard Taft Road and the underside of the US Route 50/Columbia Parkway overpass;

•	Taft Road Lane and Heatherhill Lane.

•	Westbound Riverside Drive between Leblond Recreation Center and Collins Avenue (due to ongoing construction).

Drivers are encouraged to use Torrence Parkway, Madison Road, and Woodburn Avenue as a detour while the closures are in place. The Queen Bee half marathon is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, Oct. 10 – closing the eastbound lane of Woodburn Avenue and portions of Madison Road. Drivers should expect delays but there will be directed opportunities to cross between groups of runners. Local access to Riverside Drive will be maintained during the race. Drivers are encouraged to follow posted signage and direction of local law enforcement on scene. The full course can be found here.

Residents who live within the area where roads are closed will be able to access their neighborhood through one of three, marked security checkpoints. Checkpoints will be located at:

•	William Howard Taft Road and Torrence Parkway

•	William Howard Taft Road and E McMillan Street

•	PEDESTRIAN ENTRY ONLY: Collins Ave and Gladstone Ave

Residents should expect to encounter law enforcement at these checkpoints. Please factor in extra time when traveling as a result of these security measures. Delivery trucks and other commercial services delivering to addresses in those neighborhoods may use those checkpoints, as well.

All aircraft pilots and drone operators are reminded to consult Federal Aviation Administration resources for any temporary flight restrictions before operating in and around Cincinnati.

Today in why your librarian is stressed: academic journals increase in cost about 5% every single year while our funding continues to, at best, stagnate. And that's just the things we already purchase, much less the new acquisitions our patrons need or want.
