MH was a tourist destination - us locals rarely went there. We were busy building community in our neighborhoods. We have our local spots that mean a lot to us and nothing to visitors. That’s all fine! But now we have no way to reach the outsiders to warn them about the toxins in the tourist trap.

Every night before we go to the stage, the band, dancers, and I get in the huddle, and someone gives a speech to get us fired up to play, motivate us, or just say whatever is on their mind. Whoever went last picks the person to go that night. It’s been a really powerful part of the tour and helped us get to know each other really quickly. So many of these speeches have made me cry. We put our hands in the middle and all the same thing together, and then we’re off to the races

went to a show a few weeks ago and during intermission of course everyone went to use the bathroom. the theatre had two communal restrooms that were both labeled unisex. the line moved super quick. turns out people care way more about peeing than who they're peeing next to 😐

If they’re not gonna make the cheapest muppet movie ever made, they should repurpose it to make “the cheapest muppet ride ever made” at the parks! Gonzo spends all the budget on an animatronic of himself and the rest of the ride uses really crappy projectors to make up for having no money left.
