#artfight 10: ¡es el correo por la carretera para @ng5132.bsky.social! Un bosquejo del año pasado que finalmente pude hacer porque amo este gato cartero :)

An illustration of a mailman cat stopping by the side of the road as a bright, yellow-pink sunset rests behind him and his partner pigeon. His clothes are dark and based on the Correos de Mexico postal service, and he's on a green motorcycle with its headlight on and some smoke coming out from behind. His pigeon partner is flying beside him and carrying a letter, slightly closer to our point of view. The sunlight is reflecting off of them rather brilliantly.
The view is looking up on a small hill where the road rests. There are street rails, electric poles and a speed limit sign lining the road past the hill. The sky above is lined with a pink-blue sky with pink clouds reflecting the sun on the horizon, and a plane's contrail in the distance. The shadows being casted by the environment are long and near-black, with the grass veering towards a dark red, with yellow highlights at the top of the hill.

💌 My first postcard from postcrossing has been registered on the site, so here's an illustration to celebrate!

Illustration celebrating the postal service; it shows different letterboxes, letters, and postcards. At the top of the image, there's a postman on a bicycle; in the center, an open letterbox with letters inside; at the bottom, the postman delivering mail to a person.

"Mazatlán, ay mi Mazatlán. Perlita escondida entre los encantos del agua del mar azul" Ilustración inspirada en un número de ballet folklorico con la canción Mazatlán de Mike Laure, que tuve el placer de ver el año pasado.

Illustration inspired by the city Mazatlán in México. In the center of the image there's a woman dancing in the ocean, her dress looks like its made with the waves of the sea. There's a text next to her reads 'Oye el canto de las olas del mar que vienen a cantar para ti...' The border at the top shows three islands and at the bottom there's the city's lighthouse.

In the second panel, Wirt and Greg are standing in the middle of the forest, Greg is holding his frog in his arms. In the third panel, the Woodman's daughter is carrying a bucket to a water well.
