Copenhagen, the bicycle-friendliest place on the planet, publishes a biannual Bicycle Account, and buried in its pages is a rather astonishing fact.

This isn't just grasping at straws -- it's grasping at thin air. LNG Canada uses steel modules fabricated in China because we don't make them here. The first phase was built in large part because of a duty waiver the Trudeau government granted. Would PP like to see the project not built at all?

Here’s what we really need to focus a lot more discussion on — you don’t need to hate cars in order to want people to have the CHOICE to walk, bike and take public transit in your city. Better cities provide more choices, and work better for EVERYONE. Bad cities offer only dependency. #CarDependency

This is false and misleading. There is nothing in the constitution that would require Ottawa to negotiate with Alberta if a majority of Albertans choose Option 2 on Question 10. Alberta Proud is a registered third-party advertiser. Daniel Kary, of Calgary, is the main contact/CFO.
There's a lot of confusion about what Question 10 on the October 19 ballot actually means, so let's be clear.
Question 10 gives voters two options: remain a province of Canada, or start the legal process toward a binding referendum. A binding referendum means a future province-wide vote whose result the government is legally required to act on, not just listen to and ignore. Choosing the second option doesn't take Alberta out of Canada.
Under Canada's constitution, if enough Albertans choose the second option, Ottawa would be required to come to the table for a real conversation about Alberta's place in Canada, how our resources are managed, and whether we're getting a fair return.
Are you voting on October 19?

There's not a conservative worth that label who would look at the costs of separation and view it as a wise decision. We didn't need a blue ribbon report to tell us that. Now, it's even harder to view Option 2 as a means of building a credible case for leverage when the threat is so absurd.

The orphan fund exists to ensure that industry as a whole pays for cleanup when companies go bankrupt. The longer orphan wells sit unreclaimed, the more taxpayers pay to cover unpaid rent to landowners & unpaid municipal taxes. Low orphan levy = delayed cleanup = increased cost to Albertans. #ABLeg

Based on the AER's own numbers, there are 94 companies with roughly $2 billion in liabilities who are considered to be in "high financial distress." The AER knows this problem is about to get MUCH worse, but they continue to set the orphan levy low to protect profitable O&G companies. #ABLeg #ABPoli

For example, CNRL made $10.8 billion in profit in 2025 alone. CNRL could pay for the cleanup of the entire orphan inventory ($1.66B) and still walk away with over $9B in profits. That's why the orphan fund / orphan levy exists. But the AER keeps protecting industry at our expense. #ABLeg #ABPoli
